Who needs a necklace with accessories like those? Uma Thurman attends jewellery store launch in plunging LBD

She was there to attend the New York store opening for a Swedish jewellery designer, but opted to accessorise herself with nothing more than ample cleavage.

Uma Thurman arrived at Efva Attling’s store launch party in a plunging little black dress that could only be described as provocative, but managed to pull off the look with elegance.

The 41-year-old Kill Bill actress teamed up her ensemble with a matching black blazer, strappy heels and a Hollywood smile.

Perhaps she was in the mood to buy some jewelled pieces while at the event and therefore arrived with a bare neck.

Designer Efva Attling has worked with H&M and Levi’s in the past and has many celebrity fans of her work, such as Madonna, Jennifer Aniston and Kylie Minogue.

She has stores in Denmark, Finland and Norway among others and opened her first US branch in the Meatpacking District of Manhattan.

Before jetting off to New York, Uma had been enjoying Chanel’s spring 2012 women’s ready-to-wear collection at Paris Fashion Week last week.

The mother-of-two is a keen fashion follower and is a regular attendee at New York Fashion Weeks too.

While Uma isn’t busy perusing the latest in jewellery fashion, she has been tied up with a long list of film projects.

Director Quentin Tarantino recently announced that he is planning to release Kill Bill Volume 3 in 2014, which will of course re-cast his muse Uma.

He revealed that he wanted a 10-year break between Volume 2 and Vol.3 to allow Uma to have a break.

But she also has three films currently in post-production and is gearing up to film Girl Soldier, in which she plays the leading role.

Girl Soldier has been described as ‘a feature film’s sharp protest against the use of children in armed conflict and an authoritative account of how concerned parents, interfaith groups, and international politicians banded together in a struggle to rescue girls and to mobilise a people, their country and a global community.’

It is great once actresses reach their forties; you are guaranteed gratuitous nude scenes as they try to maintain their flagging careers. We all know why you waited ten years Quentin...

No boob job. Those are the real deal. She does have a pretty nice body but for the life of me I cannot accept the fact she is considered all that attractive. I do enjoy her movies though.

Don't think she has had a boob job actually. She has a few children which would have helped and she's always had an ample bust. anyway. I think she looks beautiful and i cant wait for Kill Bill Vol 3. :)

So sick of the boobs and pushed up props hanging out attracting all the attention instead of the demure, refined womanly look of a total body and face look, not just one feature bulging out hiding all the rest. So vulgar and ugly.
